Letters to the Editor: Please Stop Reporting on My Laundry
Share
Original cat comedy · Short read · Fiction
Dear Gazette,
My drying rack is not a “new skyline development.” I am drying four shirts. Please correct your coverage.
Sincerely, The Human
Dear Human,
We appreciate your perspective. From the windowsill, four shirts constitute a significant change to the horizon. Our responsibility is to report what our readers can no longer see.
You also objected to the phrase “fabric district.” We believe it accurately describes the area between the chair and the radiator on wash day.
The Gazette remains committed to balanced reporting. We have acknowledged that your laundry occasionally creates interesting shadows, and our arts section gave the striped shirt a favorable review.
However, the continuing appearance of trousers in the pigeon corridor deserves scrutiny.
We invite you to submit a response explaining when normal visibility will return. Please keep it under one hundred words; the editor tends to fall asleep on longer correspondence.
Yours in public service,
Biscuit
Editor’s note: The shirts have been removed. We are now investigating why the room looks different.
Keep the comedy going
